| A/C System

Is your air conditioning
blowing warm
instead of cold?
Your car's air conditioning system is
basically the same whether you use freon (R-12) or R134A
refrigerant in later models.
The air conditioning system, using a compressor, condenser,
and evaporator core, circulates the refrigerant, changing it
from liquid to gas to liquid to help cool the passenger
compartment. The condenser acts like the
"radiator" of the A/C system to cool the heated
refrigerant. The evaporator core is like the "heater
core" of the A/C system, distributing cold air by means
of the blower fan. Most cars use the same fan for heating
and air conditioning.
Due to federal law, we do our part in protecting the
environment by reclaiming refrigerant while working on all
A/C systems.Since car manufacturers are no longer using
freon in later models, freon has become scarce and more
expensive every year.
