Does your car slip in gear,
chatter,
or not move at all?
Your car's manual transmission is driven by a clutch
assembly which is either cable-controlled or hydraulically
controlled. An automatic transmission is driven by a fluid
coupling device called a torque converter. Most late model
automatic transmission cars are electronically controlled
for optimum performance. The auto transmission fluid not
only drives the transmission, but also lubricates and
cools it. This fluid will break down over time and should
be changed along with filter (if equipped). Indications
that transmission fluid is breaking down can be a brown
color and burnt smell (fresh fluid is red).
We service all types of automatic
transmissions on premises. We can replace your worn clutch
parts as well at very competitive prices!
